Upcoming Training

"Zoom in on Your Consec"
29-30 August 2020
9:00am - 12:00pm Mexico City Time /
3:00pm - 6:00pm UK Time

Zoom has become an integral part of many people's lives under lockdown. In this online training, we will zoom in on long consec skills using Zoom as a platform. We will review the consecutive mode, techniques and exercises to hone short-long consecutive skills when asked to use Zoom for our assignments. New skills derived from the use of Zoom will be introduced. In addition, technology relevant to consecutive will be shared to augment skills and present an alternative to traditional methods.

This language-neutral training is particularly useful for interpreters using Zoom or VRI platforms to interpret in consecutive mode.

Conscious of how Zoom meetings could be more demanding than face to face meetings, we are offering this training in two half days.
