About the Training

Rationale

Long consecutive is a mode that comes handy in many settings. It has a major advantage and that is it prevents interruptions of speakers. With the right preparation and techniques, accuracy and precision can be observed even when the interpreter is required to translate long accounts.

Goal

This is a one-day course from 9:30 to 5:00. Interpreters will be introduced to the long consecutive mode, techniques and exercises to hone their short-long consecutive skills. In addition, technology relevant to consecutive will be shared to augment skills and present an alternative to traditional methods.
